Level 2 - Certifıcate in Procurement and Supply Operations

Level 3 -Advanced Certifıcate in Procurement and Supply Operations
This qualification will prepare intermediate level learners looking to specialise in procurement and supply and to progress onto the CIPSLevel 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
Level 4 - Diploma in Procurement and Supply
This qualification is developed and written using the Procurement and Supply cycle as it's focus, it is at the same level as the first year of an undergraduate degree course. It's suitable for those in operational roles or those managing or supervising the procurement and supply function who want to develop their career and work towards MCIPS Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional.
Level 5 - Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply
Provides senior buyers, contract and supply chain managers with the expertise to improve organisational procurement and to fulfil organisational objectives. It gives you the knowledge base to reduce cost, improve quality and timescales, manage the supply chain and deal with legal issues.
Level 6 - Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply
For those who are successful in completing the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply; this represents the final level of CIPS qualifications for those working towards MCIPS Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional.
Learning together
- The class learning environment is a collaborative one, whether in the classroom in person or via the Distance learning. You will benefit from the experience of both your tutor and other learners who come from a variety of industries and organizations. You can adapt and implement the best practice processes you learn from the course material, from your tutors and from other students to benefit yourself and your own organizations.
Learning time
- For CIPS courses, classes are weekly for approximately 3-4 hours. Tuition for each of the 5 modules at all levels consists of 6-7 class study sessions plus one final revision session at the end of the module to prepare you effectively for the exam.
- Each person is different, and the learning activity that best suits you and the number of hours of study required outside of class required for each module may vary significantly. As a general rule, we think that about the same time studying outside of class as learning inside it will leave you very well placed for exam success. This may depend on a range including previous educational experience, work experience and your personal learning style.
Supporting your studies
- Your tutors will support you in both inside and outside of in a number of different ways: The option of individual tutorials according to each student’s requirements.
- The setting of work to complete at home, based on material covered in the classroom during the last teaching session. This work will, generally, be discussed at the start of the following session, or be handed in for marking and comment.
- Setting past examination questions, particularly in the final weeks of each module, with feedback provided to each student.
- The opportunity to contact your tutor at any mutually convenient time via phone, email or zoom to discuss any aspect of your studies.
Course Delivery
- ERP Software Management Procurement Training can flexibly tailor the delivery of our courses according to the specific needs of individual clients. Here are some of the options available: Class based learning at our center in Midrand.
- We are returning to some face-to-face teaching for those learners that prefer this method and are currently offering this as part of a Distance Learning. This option provides comprehensive course coverage in a class based environment and enables you to benefit from in person interaction with MCIPS tutor with experience in procurement and supply from different sector and the opportunity to learn best practice from procurement professionals who work in diverse industry sectors and organizations.
